leider muss ich euch heute mit schlechten Nachrichten informieren: Das Modellbauseite.at Forum wurde Ziel eines Hackerangriffs. Das Forum ist aus Sicherheitsgründen vorübergehend offline genommen worden, um den Vorfall zu analysieren und weiteren Schaden abzuwenden.

Nach der ersten Bestandsaufnahme stehe ich nun vor einer grundlegenden Entscheidung. Modellbauseite.at läuft seit 2006 als privates Herzblut-Projekt. Ein solcher Vorfall bringt nicht nur technischen Aufwand mit sich, sondern wirft auch die Frage auf, wie es mit der Plattform weitergehen soll. Die technische Bereinigung, Sicherung und ein eventueller Neuaufbau erfordern enorm viel Zeit und Ressourcen.

Bevor ich entscheide, ob und in welcher Form das Forum weitergeführt wird, möchte ich eure Meinung hören:

Wie wichtig ist euch das Forum als Anlaufstelle und Archiv?

Hättet ihr Interesse an einem Neuanfang (z. B. auf modernerer Software oder in veränderter Form)?

Unfortunately, I have to share some bad news with you today: The Modellbauseite.at Forum has been targeted by a hacker attack. As a security measure, the forum has been temporarily taken offline to analyze the incident and prevent further damage.

Following an initial assessment, I am now facing a fundamental decision. Modellbauseite.at has been running since 2006 as a personal passion project. An incident like this not only involves technical overhead, but also raises the question of how to move forward with the platform. Technical cleanup, security hardening, and a potential rebuild require significant time and resources.

Before deciding whether and in what form the forum will continue, I would love to hear your thoughts:

How important is the forum to you as a hub and archive?

Would you be interested in a fresh start (e.g., on modern software or in a new format)?
